US automaker giant General Motors Corp. has just slashed off 744 jobs in its manufacturing plant in Brazil due to reduced demand and output.
According to the company, the fired workers were only temporary ones whose contracts have expired last July or August.
Local labor unions said that they are already considering strike actions against this move by the US automaker.
