Everybody seems to be following the European Union model and aiming for regionalization.
Just yesterday, Brazil announced that a regional South American bank will be set up. This is in line with the continent's plan to have a common currency and a union called the Union of South American Nations.
Through the union, it is hoped that regional unity will be achieved and the economies of the participating countries will be strengthened.
