Argentina, Brazil won't use US dollar

In a move to integrate the currencies of the different South American nations into one, Argentina and Brazil, the two superpowers of the continent, have agreed not to use the US dollars to facilitate their trading partnerships. Instead, they will use their own currencies to trade goods.
They say that this is not only economically significant. It is culturally important as well.

Do you know if Brasil's Chamber of Deputies or Senate has ratified the UNASUL treaty yet?
